Ashurst Wood Village Centre, 7 – 9 pm

Come along and receive free training on how to use a defibrillator and some basic first aid skills; the more knowledge residents have on how to use a portable defibrillator, the greater chance there is of saving the life of a victim of Sudden Cardiac Arrest. South East Coast Ambulance Service will be providing demonstrations on defibrillator use.

Steve Morris, whose life was saved by a defibrillator at the Kings Centre East Grinstead, will also be speaking about his experiences.

Ashurst Wood’s community defibrillator is in the old red telephone kiosk located on Maypole Road/ School Lane junction, by the Loco shop.
