There will be no garden waste collections between 25th December 2017 and 5th January 2018 (inclusive)
Normal collection service resumes week commencing 8th January, so Friday 12th January for Ashurst Wood.
Real Christmas trees can be recycled at John Pears car park from the 30th December 2017 until the 12th January 2018
Our normal collection day is FRIDAY. The only changes to the regular day will be over the Christmas period. Landfill bins (black) and recycling bins (blue) are emptied on alternate weeks.

Civic Amenity Refuse Collection: This is organised by the Village Council twice a year for the benefit of residents. The next collection will be in the Autumn of 2016 (date to be confirmed), from 10 am until 12 noon at the Village Centre car park. This is for household waste only – no trade or builders waste allowed.
FLY-TIPPING: Please report any incidents to the Parish Council Office. Fly-tipping is a criminal offence and carries a fine of £1000. Many thanks for your help.

Forest Row Household Waste Recycling Site
From the 6th October 2014, the site operated by Veolia for East Sussex County Council will no longer be open from Monday to Thursday. Click here for more information about the site.
New opening hours are:
Friday and Saturday 8 am – 4 pm, Sunday 9 am – 4 pm.
East Grinstead Household Waste Recycling site
From the 1st October 2016, the West Sussex County Council site at Imberhorne Lane will be CLOSED on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and open from Thursdays to Mondays, 10 am – 7 pm in summer and 10 am – 5 pm in winter.
