Mid Sussex District Council is inviting individuals, landowners, developers and site promoters to put forward sites for inclusion in the Strategic Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (SHELAA). This document is updated regularly and will be used as part of the evidence base for the District Plan review.
Land can be submitted as potentially suitable for housing, gypsy and traveller sites, business or infrastructure.
Sites submitted will be assessed for their potential for allocation as part of the District Plan Review process, however inclusion in the SHELAA does not necessarily mean that a site will be suitable for allocation or that it will be granted planning permission in the future.
Sites already in the SHELAA do not need to be re-submitted, unless circumstances have changed.
The call-for-sites is open from 7th January until midnight on the 19th February 2021.
