Allotments

There are currently no allotments in Ashurst Wood and the Village Council has been seeking suitable land for many years.

Since 2019, the Council has been in discussions with a local family who are interested in making a piece of land available for allotments. The land is south of Hammerwood Road, close to Yewhurst Close. Unfortunately the recent sad death of one of the joint landowners has delayed matters, but it is understood that the other owners are still keen to proceed.

The Village Council already has a list of residents who might be interested in renting an allotment. if you would like to add your name to the list (without making any definite commitment) please contact the Clerk.

Also, please contact us if you have or know of a piece of land that might be available for allotment use, either within or adjoining the village.
