Annual Village Meeting

The Annual Village Meeting will take place on Thursday, 12th May. If you only attend one meeting this year, make sure it is this one! It is an opportunity to see what your Council has been up to over the past year and for you to ask Councillors any questions.
Registration from 7pm with presentations beginning at 7.30pm.
Guest speakers will talk about defibrillators and a proposed new Bonfire Society; and our local Member of Parliament, Mims Davies will come along and speak about life in Westminster.
Light refreshments after the meeting.

Platinum Jubilee

You are warmly invited to attend the celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. A Party in the Park style event will be held at John Pears Field. There will be a bar and music throughout the afternoon. The headline act are 'The Madhatter's Tea Party' www.themadhattersteapartyband.co.uk
The Event is free to attend and there will be food vendors and stalls.
At 9.45pm, along with the rest of the Commonwealth, we will take part in the Beacon Lighting. The evening will end at 10.30pm
