Queen's Platinum Jubilee Party 2nd June 2022

On the 6th February 2022, the Queen became the first British monarch ever to mark 70 years on the throne and celebrate a Platinum Jubilee. To mark the event, there will be a long weekend of celebrations from Thursday 2nd June to Sunday 5th June.

We plan to have our own celebration on Thursday 2nd June (which will be a Bank Holiday) at John Pears Field.
Come and spend time with your family and friends. Take some photos at our Royal-themed selfie stand. There will be musical entertainment during the afternoon, with a headline band, The Mad Hatter's Tea Party in the evening.

As it starts to get dark we will join in with the national beacon lighting ceremony.

Doors open 2.30 pm.

Bring your own picnic or enjoy the offerings available from our food and drink vendors.
