Revised District Plan Consultation

Mid Sussex District Council is now consulting on a revised draft of the District Plan. It will cover the period 2021 - 2039.

The Consultation runs from the 7th November to the 19th December 2022.

Youth Club is currently closed until a new assistant can be employed to help run it. Volunteers are also needed to help out.

Volunteer Youth Club Helpers Needed

The Youth Club runs on Wednesday evenings between 7 and 8.30pm during term times at John Pears Pavilion. It is open to young people aged 11 to 16, school years 7-11.

The Club is looking for volunteers to assist the youth leader and assistant with setting up, clearing away and supervising the youngsters. Ideally we will have a team of several volunteers so that we can draw up a rota.

Changes to Recycling and Rubbish collection services

From mid September 2022 there will be changes to our services as Mid Sussex District Council (MSDC) will be carrying out a trial of a new 1-2-3 collection scheme, which will include a weekly food waste collection, a fortnightly blue bin (recycling) collection and a once every three weeks landfill bin collection.
